Description
The Sugarcoat is our heavyweight plus size ski and snowboard jacket, made for cold days on the mountain and every snowy day in between. It is cut for plus size bodies in sizes 1X to 6X, with warm heavyweight insulation, a thermal mesh lining and a jacquard polyester shell finished with criss cross stitching.
A durable water repellent (DWR) coating sheds snow and light rain, and critical taped seams keep water out where it matters most. When you heat up, underarm zip vents let the air through. A technical snow skirt and ninja cuffs seal out snow at the waist and wrists, and the insulated attached hood keeps your head and neck warm.
There is room for everything you carry: a chest pocket, two hand warming pockets, a goggle pocket and an audio pocket. It measures 31.5 inches from the back of the neck to the hem on a 3X. Available in Soap Stone, Metal Blue, Mint and Honeydew, and it pairs with any of our plus size snow bibs for a full winter setup.

This jacket is extremely well made and kept me nice and warm in freezing temperatures. The color is beautiful and there’s lots of pockets which was great. I felt like I had purchased a really nice quality coat for the price and it did not disappoint. I’d highly recommend it.
I just took my new coat out for 3 days of skiing. I did have one rainy day, and felt a little wet that day, but otherwise I was warm and dry. I’m very happy with the coat. It also fits very well.

Women’s Plus Size 1X-6X Insulated Snow Board Jacket Ski Coat Winter Sugarcoat Outerwear
I have the sugarcoat in light blue. Great color, nice exterior finish, warm. It’s purposefully big on me, because tight coats make me claustrophobic and this doesn’t have a two-way zipper. The adjustable hood is a great feature (especially because I bought big)!
The ninja cuffs are the same material as activewear, so they’ll block snow and don’t add bulk, but also don’t add warmth. The placket over the zipper seems to go the wrong direction for women’s clothing. The Velcro closures are well sized and placed, so zipping isn’t always necessary. Haven’t needed/tried the side vents.
The hand warmer pockets are COLD! The body side is cozy but the shell side is lined in slick fabric. It is painfully obvious there is no insulation between that slick lining and the exterior shell. They are storage only for me. I just pull my hands up into my sleeves.
The jacket fits well and is quite warm.
The coat is lightweight but very warm. It's super comfortable and I am so grateful that I found a company that makes clothes for real plus sizes!

After purchasing snow pants I addedthis jacket to my cold weather gear. Roomy, warm, and comfortable, even with a hoodie under it. My favorite part is the drawstring on the back of the hood to keep the hood from covering my eyes.
I love my coat! Nice pink shade color and keeps me very warm. Well worth the price and I will continue to purchase coats in the future.

My wife and I bought these for our upcoming move to Rochester, NY. The coats arrived very quickly and we both immediately loved them. Both coats were true to size and we liked discovering all the small features that were on them.
I love the pants, but a petite size would be great as the one's I purchased is about 2 inches two long, so I will have to have them hemmed. I haven't been able to wear the coat yet as it's a little snug around my stomach. I am losing weight so hopefully I'll be able to wear it soon. :-)

PURCHASED THIS FOR MY DAUGHTER WHO IS TALL AND VERY PLUS AROUND THE MIDDLE. FITS WONDERFULLY WITH A LITTLE ROOM TO SPARE. TRUE TO SIZE WITH SOME WIGGLE ROOM! KEEPS HER WARM ON 5 AM MORNINGS IN THE TEENS WHEN SHE HEADS TO WORK AND NOT SO BULKY IT IS UNCOMFORTABLE TO WEAR WHILE DRIVING.
I love the lining, not that sweat producing lining. Outside layers are windproof and color is amazing!
