Women's Plus Size Winter Ski Coat The Luna in sizes 1X-6X

It was time to figure out what I was going to do for snow wear. I stumbled across Snow Country Outerwear and decided to take the leap. I could not have been happier with the result. When I wore my bibs and jacket last week to the Buffalo Bills game, and took of the jacket, my arm was steaming I was so warm. I could not be happier with my purchase.

I really like this jacket. Its a great length and keeps me warm in these Michigan winters. Only negative thing is that I have a hard time keeping the hood on. The hood is a little over-sized, but all-in-all is a great jacket!

I am a plus size woman and I find it very difficult to find a coat that is warm and that actually fits. This coat fits ture to size, I ordered a 3X and it fits great! I wanted to make sure the coat fit with a sweater or a hoddie and it does. The coat is warm, but the hat is a little big, that would be my only complaint. Differently worth the $100 bucks, especially for a plus size winter coat!

The pockets are very odd on this jacket. It fits nice but runs a bit small.

This was my first time buying from Snow Country Outerwear & I was so excited when I saw all the Women's Plus Size Coat options! I first ordered the Black Luna in a 4X, but after trying it on felt I should get a bigger size to accommodate thicker tops. I paid the $3.98 for easy returns so no problem boxing it back up in its original packaging, printing label & dropping at the nearest UPS location.
I was hoping the 6X I exchanged it for would be longer because that was the one thing that gave me pause about buying this style - it wasn't as long as I like. I want a coat, a winter coat, to brush my thighs and this doesn't even come close. However, it was on clearance for $50 from $200, making it in my budget and I really wanted a new coat now because I was tired of making due without a proper winter coat the last four years in South Dakota!
Well unfortunately it's too big, not their fault, I ordered two sizes larger instead of only one, but I didn't realize this until I'd actually worn the coat and could no longer try another exchange. Though I've no idea if that would have even been allowed! It keeps slipping up my body when zipped and is simply all over the place when not.
I zipped the faux fur collar off right away - no clue why they insist on including that ridiculous stuff. But that did not help much since the hood is huge and when I'm not wearing it, it actually sticks up so high behind my head, I can't see to back my car up!
The ninja cuff sleeves are just annoying and get in the way. I don't want to wear my sleeves on my hands. I miss just plain old elasticized coat sleeves. But that is probably just me.
Also, I have a terrible time trying to unzip the hand pockets while wearing the coat! They just won't move. I know sometimes new zippers need to be used a few times to loosen up, but it's been long enough - this is ridiculous.
Last, it's not as warm as I was hoping either. I studied the insulation material and thought this would work for my purposes, but apparently not.
At this point, I would not recommend this style coat at all. A bargain isn't worth it if you can't be satisfied with your purchase overall.

Perfect fit but the hood is too large. It kept warm for sure.

This jacket is very well made comfortable. don't like fur on hoods (I don't) this wouldn't let me correct that. The fur is removable so it's perfect!

Nice and warm with good plus size sizing. Hood is very deep. Would purchase again.

Coat is plenty warm, fits well, & the color is very pretty. Would purchase from Snow Country Outerwear again.

I am so happy to finally find a coat that not only fits me but is also cute and functional! The protective layer at the wrists guards my arms from catching the cold wind and it retains so much heat inside the layering. The fleece portion inside is cozy and I love the large inside pocket to store my phone and other goodies. Thank you for thinking of larger bodies when designing the perfect winter gear!

Je suis en AMOUR avec mon manteau. Super confortable, tres chaud, léger.... La capuche un peu grande mais c'est qu'un détail. Je le recommande tres sincerement.

The jacket fits great but the pants I ordered are way to big. We didn't measure correctly so I will have to reorder the pants. Do you do returns?

This jacket fit me perfectly and was just the right length. The two things that I wish it had and would have been 5 star worthy was a double zipper to be able to zip up from the bottom and different pockets but both of those imperfections are minor. Still a fantastic jacket!

Yhe hood is too big

Nice and warm. Only complaint is that I wish there was a way to make the good a little more fitted. It falls over the front of my face making it hard to see. But overall a great coat for our Minnesota winters

Love this coat I could've actually got a 5x because this coat fits big I like that..And if your in between 290-330lb and your top heavy the 5x most likely will fit you...
