I love this jacket! I sized up when ordering and I have plenty of stomach and hip room standing and sitting. The pockets are DEEP so even if I forget to zip them, nothing falls out. I am in cold Minnesota and this jacket is fully able to keep me warm. The hood is good over a warm hat for extra insulation. The one size up gives me the length I like as well as longer sleeves. This was a fantastic buy. And I can fold it up tiny and put it in my big purse if I take it off at a store. Amazing!!

Its not quite as warm as hoped. The black currant looks .ore burgundy in the picture and in life it is more brown. The sleeves are a bit loose at the cuffs and long. There is not a way to tighten the hood. The hips are a little snug but not overly so, i am an apple and struggle with fit, and this isnt horrible and the sizing is very similar to the sizing on my last coat from Kohls. Otherwise its not a bad jacket.

My daughter needed a coat and she referred me to buy from Snow Country. Once I did and she put it on. She wears it every chance she gets. Thank you for such cozy coat!

I got a 4x when I usually wear a 3x because I always get a size bigger for winter jackets. The sleeves are a little long for me. Because of the sleeve length and the thinness of the jacket, I should have gotten a 3x. So comfy and warm though! I got it on a great sale, too. Definitely will buy again, but like I said, in a 3x.

It said it had a pull strap for the head and it doesn't.. also showed that the cuffs fit tight around your wrist so snow wouldn't get in.. does not have that also

I recently purchased a down jacket and the base layer top and bottom from you and I am thrilled with my purchases.I have receive several compliments on my stylish and ohh so warm jacket which I have worn several times since its arrival. The base layer top and bottom are also well made and comfortable. I suggest that you make them in other colors as they can be worn as stand alone pieces as well. Finally I want to give a shout out to the superb customer service ad fast shipping of my items. In a world where customer service as I knew it has all but disappeared your company still understands that if you make a customer happy then that customer will come back to you again. This coat has the most comforting, softest feel to it, that I will cover up with it to take a nap on the couch. I kid you not. Snow Country, keep using this material!! I purchased the teal color in a 4X. Overall, it fit pretty good.

*Front zip pockets need to be positioned to the sides of the coat, rather than the front. I feel like I am having to hold my hands out to the front of me rather than comfortably resting at my sides, in the pockets.

Great coat, very warm and compact but it seems to run small. I have another winter coat in the same size and it fits completely different. Overall a good purchase but disappointed in the fit.

I originally ordered a 4x in teal during the black Friday sale, and it was almost perfect. Great length, long arms, nice and warm, yet light weight, and packable. My only issue was the width or circumference of the upper arms, it fit too tight to layer anything under the jacket, even a long sleeve tee. Just an extra half inch in the upper arms would have made all the difference. I placed a second order for the next size up, and although the arms now fit, everything else is too big for the style of jacket...too long from neck to hem and too big around in the waist, just too large overall, but I'll keep it anyhow because of the price point, and the sheer fact that a wide range of sizes are offered. And I really like the style of the jacket.

So many Pros: order shipped same day it was received; order arrived 2 days later; Lagoon color is a gorgeous deep teal; fits like a dream; keeps me toasty.
Cons (more of a Wish List): two-way zipper (on pockets, too); specs on down fill rating.

Would also love to get a packable down vest. Please consider! I got the alternate fill vest in pink which is also a keeper, but would prefer a lighter weight one as well.

I am true 4xl size and the shoulder area was a little tight. I reordered and sized up

I absolutely love this coat, and I am thrilled with the fit, with the small exception of the arms--I find the upper arms to be a smidge tight, especially if I am layering. I used the sizing tool, which I highly recommend. I had planned to buy a 3x but I'm so glad that I got a 4x! Will absolutely buy from this company again.

It's light, soft, and comfortable. My only issue and it's me not the manufacturer, is if you have big arms-- size up.

I don't usually make a habit of thanking brands for producing good plus size clothes - it really shouldn't be that hard to make clothes for every body - but after looking for so long to find a technical grade, packable, lightweight puffy jacket I really couldn't be more grateful to have this. It's opened up a world of cool/cold weather hiking and backpacking I otherwise wouldn't have access to as a plus size clothing wearer. Light, well made, and warm! I hope to shop more plus size offerings from this company in the future!

It is hard to be plus size and find a jacket that isn’t bulky and allows for range of movement. This jacket allows for all of the above, you won’t be disappointed.

The fit is so flattering! I actually feel like I look great in a jacket! It’s extremely light weight and not bulky at all, yet it’s very warm and cozy. I even drive comfortably while wearing it.
