It started with snow.
For more than ten years we have made outerwear for the people the industry kept ignoring. Our first snow jackets and bibs for plus size women got so popular that the name stuck: Snow Country.
But rain does not wait for winter, and neither do you. So Snow Country grew from snow into a full plus size outerwear brand: rain jackets, winter coats, snow pants, and more on the way for every season of your life outside.
We are a woman owned and led family business, proud to specialize in the sizes the rest of the industry treats as an afterthought.
Designed from scratch, never scaled up
Most brands take a straight size pattern and simply grade it bigger. We do not. Every Snow Country style is designed from scratch for plus size bodies: deeper armholes, sleeves that fit, longer bodies, and hoods that actually go over your head. Then we fit test everything on real customers before it ever reaches you.
Sizing shaped by tens of thousands of you
Every review, every exchange, and every fit note feeds back into next season's patterns. That feedback loop, built over tens of thousands of customers, is why a Snow Country jacket fits the first time more often than anything else you have tried.
