Description
Winter outerwear that actually fits is hard to find above a 1X. The Cortina is our most premium plus size parka this season, and it is built to handle a real winter, not just look like it can.
The shell is a 10K waterproof breathable polyester with a DWR finish and fully sealed seams, so rain and wet snow stay out. Underneath, a quilted insulated lining holds warmth without the bulk that makes most parkas feel like armor. It runs long at 35.5 inches from the back of the neck to the hem, which means real coverage when you sit, drive, or stand in the wind.
The details are where it earns the price. A two way zipper lets you open the hem for sitting or driving. A snap button wind placket covers the zip. Inner sleeve gaiters with thumbholes seal out drafts at the wrist. A drawcord waist tightens through the front pocket, so you can shape the waist without taking your hands out into the cold. The hood adjusts, and the faux fur trim comes off when you want a cleaner line.
