Description
A vest is the layer you reach for more than anything else in your closet, and most of them stop at a 1X, quit at your hips or puff you up like a sleeping bag. The Tempo II is our plus size insulated vest, a longline quilted vest cut from scratch for plus size bodies in sizes 1X to 6X, with length that covers past the hip.
This is not a big, bulky puffer. The low-loft quilting lies flat against the body instead of ballooning out, so the vest keeps a streamlined, flattering shape that skims rather than adds bulk. You get the warmth of synthetic down fill without the puff, and it sits neatly under a winter coat or on its own over a sweater.
The shell is a stretch nylon and spandex fabric with a DWR finish, so it moves with you and sheds light rain and snow. A high collar closes out the wind, two zippered hand pockets keep your phone and keys secure, and a full front zip makes it easy on and easy off.
