Description
A real plus size winter coat above a 1X is one of the hardest things to find: warm enough for January, long enough to cover, and cut for your proportions instead of scaled up from a straight size. The Axtell is our heavyweight plus size parka, hooded and designed from scratch for plus size bodies in sizes 1X to 6X, for snow days, dog walks, school runs and everything else winter throws at you.
Synthetic down insulation holds serious warmth without the bulk, and a plush fleece lining through the upper body is what you feel first when you put it on. A durable 300T polyester shell with a DWR finish sheds rain, sleet and snow. A raised, insulated collar closes out drafts at the neck, and the insulated hood carries a removable faux fur trim you can snap off for a cleaner look.
It is built to be lived in. A two way zipper opens from the bottom so you can sit, drive and layer comfortably, and ribbed snow cuffs seal out the cold at your wrists. Zippered hand pockets keep your essentials secure. It runs 37.5 inches from the back of the collar to the hem on a 3X, so it covers well past the hip. Available in Black, Eggplant, Hunter Green and Midnight Blue, and it pairs with any of our snow bibs or snow pants for a full winter setup that fits.
